Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta

Description

A creamy, spicy pasta dish with crispy shrimp and a delicious bang bang sauce.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 8 oz pasta (linguine or fettuccine)
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and honey to make the bang bang sauce. Set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Add shrimp to the pan and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  5. In the same pan, toast panko breadcrumbs until golden brown, about 2 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  6. Toss cooked pasta with half of the bang bang sauce. Add shrimp and mix gently.
  7. Garnish with toasted breadcrumbs, green onions, and a drizzle of lime juice.
  8. Serve immediately with extra sauce on the side.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
