For the Crust:
- 4 large croissants, torn into pieces
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
- Arrange torn croissant pieces in the prepared dish and sprinkle blueberries evenly over the top.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissants, pressing down lightly to ensure all pieces are soaked.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and set in the center.
- Let cool for 5 minutes, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
