A delicious and easy dessert featuring caramelized apples wrapped in flaky puff pastry.

For the Crust:
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 2 large apples, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix sliced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until apples are coated.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Cut into 4 equal rectangles.
- Spread caramel sauce in the center of each pastry rectangle, leaving a border around the edges.
- Arrange apple slices on top of the caramel, then fold the edges of the pastry over the apples.
- Brush the pastry edges with beaten egg wash. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
