For the Crust:
- 8 oz pasta (penne or fusilli)
- 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add pasta, broth, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
- Cover and cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and liquid is mostly absorbed.
- Remove from heat and stir in white cheddar and mozzarella cheeses until fully melted and creamy.
- Let sit for 2 minutes to thicken, then serve warm.
