For the Crust:

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Granulated sugar for coating

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Gradually add powdered sugar and peppermint extract, mixing until well combined.
  3. If desired, add a few drops of food coloring and mix until evenly distributed.
  4. Roll the mixture into small balls (about 1 tsp each).
  5. Roll each ball in granulated sugar and flatten slightly with a fork.
  6. Place mints on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes
