For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, spinach, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Remove meatballs from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add heavy cream, chicken broth, and Parmesan cheese. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
  6. Return the meatballs to the skillet and simmer for another 10 minutes, or until cooked through.
  7. Serve hot with pasta or crusty bread.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
