Crispy Bang Bang Salmon Bites (Sweet & Spicy)

Juicy salmon bites coated in a crispy crust and drizzled with a sweet and spicy bang bang sauce.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb salmon fillet, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Season salmon pieces with salt and pepper. Dredge each piece in cornstarch, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Pan-fry salmon bites for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown, then transfer to the baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 8-10 minutes until salmon is cooked through.
  5. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and honey to make the bang bang sauce.
  6. Drizzle sauce over the crispy salmon bites before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
