For the Crust:
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup colored sprinkles
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2–3 tbsp milk (for glaze)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients.
- Fold in colored sprinkles until evenly distributed.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on prepared baking sheets. Flatten slightly with your palm.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Let cool completely.
- For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cookies and add extra sprinkles if desired.
