Easy Beef and Noodles

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb beef stew meat, cubed
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add beef cubes and brown on all sides, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook until onions are translucent, about 3 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle flour over the beef and onions, stirring to coat. Cook for 1 minute.
  4. Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Add thyme, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Add egg noodles to the pot and cook according to package instructions, about 8-10 minutes, until tender.
  6. Adjust seasoning if needed and serve hot.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
