A hearty and comforting casserole with ground beef, beans, and a crispy tater tot topping.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) baked beans
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cheddar cheese soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in baked beans, cheddar cheese soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Transfer the beef mixture to a 9×13-inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Arrange tater tots in a single layer over the beef mixture.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the tater tots.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden and crispy.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
