A fun twist on classic burgers, these smash burger tacos combine juicy beef, melty cheese, and fresh toppings in a crispy taco shell.

For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 8 small flour tortillas or taco shells
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup pickles
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Divide the beef mixture into 8 small portions and press each into a thin patty directly in the skillet.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and crispy. Top each patty with cheese during the last minute of cooking.
- Warm the tortillas or taco shells according to package instructions.
- Assemble the tacos by placing a cheesy smash patty in each shell. Top with tomatoes, onions, pickles, and a drizzle of sauce (mix mayo, ketchup, and mustard).
- Serve immediately while warm.
