For the Crust:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a shallow bowl, mix parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken breast in the beaten egg, then coat evenly with the parmesan mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Transfer chicken to the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
