For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 carrots, sliced
  • 3 potatoes, diced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
  3. Stir in the carrots, potatoes, beef broth, diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, and thyme.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 25-30 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.

Notes
