For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 3 potatoes, diced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Stir in the carrots, potatoes, beef broth, diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, and thyme.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 25-30 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
