For the Crust:

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine heavy cream, butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cocoa powder, and salt.
  2. Heat over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until the butter is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and chocolate chips until fully melted and smooth.
  5. Let cool slightly before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
