For the Crust:
- 8 oz dried noodles (such as udon or lo mein)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Cook noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces.
- Add garlic and ginger, stirring for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes.
- Pour the sauce over the beef and stir to coat. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to combine. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
