For the Crust:
- 8 oz dried noodles (such as udon or spaghetti)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 cup green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Pour the sauce over the beef and stir to combine.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss until evenly coated with the sauce. Cook for another 2 minutes.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot.
