  • 8 oz dried noodles (such as udon or spaghetti)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  3. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Pour the sauce over the beef and stir to combine.
  5. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss until evenly coated with the sauce. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot.
