For the Crust:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Cook chicken in the skillet for 6-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and mushrooms. Cook until mushrooms are soft, about 5 minutes.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Simmer for 5 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Return chicken to the skillet and coat with the mushroom sauce. Serve hot.
