Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  2. Add the diced bell pepper and onion to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the beef broth, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Place a slice of provolone cheese on the bottom half of each hamburger bun.
  5. Spoon the beef mixture onto the buns, then top with the other half of the bun. Serve warm.
