A delicious twist on the classic sloppy joe, combining the flavors of a Philly cheesesteak with the ease of a sloppy joe sandwich.

For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Add the diced bell pepper and onion to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the beef broth, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Place a slice of provolone cheese on the bottom half of each hamburger bun.
- Spoon the beef mixture onto the buns, then top with the other half of the bun. Serve warm.
