Grandma's Feast Pizza Burger Pie Recipe

Pizza Burger Pie

Description

Before we dive into the cooking process, let’s gather the ingredients. Here’s what you’ll need:

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Lean ground beef (at least 80% lean)
  • 1 cup Large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup (4 oz) Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Original Bisquick™️ mix
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 Eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the OvenBegin by preheating your oven to 400°F. Once that’s done, grab a 9-inch glass pie plate and give it a good spray with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Cook the Beef and OnionsIn a 10-inch skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat. Stir occasionally and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the beef is browned. Be sure to drain any excess grease. Sprinkle the cooked mixture with 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  3. Layer the Meat and CheeseSpread the cooked beef and onion mixture evenly in the prepared pie plate. Now, it’s time for the cheese! Sprinkle the shredded Cheddar cheese generously over the meat.
  4. Prepare the BatterIn a small bowl, whisk together the Original Bisquick™️ mix, milk, and eggs until the mixture is well-blended.
  5. Bake to PerfectionPour the batter over the meat and cheese in the pie plate. Now, pop it into the preheated oven. Bake for approximately 25 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. You’ll know it’s ready when the top is beautifully golden brown.
