For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with diced onion over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the condensed cream of mushroom soup and milk. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Spread the beef mixture evenly in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.
  6. Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
